Here’s a word of warning, though. As with generally all less traveled paths, you might find yourself in some potentially dangerous situations, so take care and get some good hiking shoes for the job. The payoff is worth it, in my opinion. You get a lot less foot traffic and get to enjoy different views the typical tourist might experience.
